NOTICE TO RESIDENTS
TOWN OF PROVIDENCE DOG ENUMERATION
The Town of Providence will be conducting a dog enumeration (census) beginning in September 2011.
As required by article 7 of New York State Agriculture and Markets Law, any dog 4 months of age or older must be licensed in the local town they are sheltered in.
Please license your dog(s) at the Town Clerk's Office or remit by mail to: Providence Town Clerk, 7187 Barkersville Rd., Middle Grove, NY 12850.
Please include the following:
1. Rabies certification from the veterinarian
2. Proof of spay/neutering if applicable
3. Check payable to Providence Town Clerk
Fees prior to enumeration per dog are as follows:
1. Neutered/Spayed $5
2. Unneutered/Unspayed $13
Once the enumeration begins, an additional enumeration fee of $5 for any unlicensed dog will be charged.
